Peerless began with a simple frustration: every theme promised speed and then shipped a megabyte of scripts nobody asked for. So we started over — no bundler, no dependency tree, no guesswork. Just clean files that deploy the moment you push to a branch. The result loads fast out of the box, and stays that way as the site grows.

We tracked every kilobyte in a column labeled weight_total, and watched it shrink.

Each release climbed a version higher, until the theme you are reading became Peerless⁴.

Adding a module stayed a one-liner: a single dnd_module tag in a template, and it appears.

Every example on this page renders from that same theme — no mockups, no screenshots.

The part teams notice first? Nothing is hard-coded. Color, spacing, and layout all move from the page editor.
