Author Pages and Category Feeds Come to the Peerless Blog

Two structural upgrades landed on the blog this month: the listing page now organizes posts into category feeds, and every writer gets a real author page.

Category feeds on the listing page

Instead of one endless reverse-chronological feed, the blog home now shows a row of recent posts for each category — Product Updates, Guides & Tutorials, Case Studies, Company News, and Marketing Tips. Each feed links to its full tag archive, so a reader who only cares about tutorials never has to scroll past release notes.

Under the hood this is the Blog Feed module doing the work: each instance filters by a single tag, and editors can add, remove, or reorder feeds in the page editor without touching a template.

Author pages

Author bylines now link to a dedicated profile page: avatar, bio, social links, article count, and a paginated grid of everything the author has published. It uses the same card treatment as the listing page, so it feels like part of the blog rather than a system page.

Why it matters

Both changes are about the same thing: giving readers a second click. A visitor who finishes a post can jump to the category it belongs to or see what else the writer has published — without either path dead-ending in a generic archive.
